Every bleating of the lamb and every crow and every cry
Hear the pleading of the creature who would never choose to die
We can learn again to love them they can learn again to fly
Liberation for us all
We have killed them by the billions burned the forests where they roam
We have taken and we’ve taken what was never ours to own
We will make the Earth a space that shared to all who call it home
Liberation for us all
It is they who built the studies where we profit and we learn
On their backs and in their bodies we poisoned cut and burned
But never do we give them back the wonders they have earned
Liberation for us all
We’ve netted them and hooked them we’ve harpooned them till they bled
Turned the water into acid left the oceans all for dead
They say Jesus passed the fishes why not only loaves of bread
Liberation for us all
I have eaten of their bodies but I never will again
Now I've been to sanctuaries and I've met pigs and hens
But all will be forgiven when and only when
How can I convince you so that your heart of stone will melt
we have killed them for their skins and we have killed them for their pelt
They are more than just a wallet they are more than just a belt
Liberation for us all
They were free and they were wild before we painted our first cave
And I know some will still be here when we’re lying in our graves
But for now that while we’re living we’ve got animals to save
